2015-2017 aPI Computerhandels, Baesweiler – DE

After the start of construction in June 2014, the first employees were able to move into the new premises at the beginning of 2016. On a site of over 32,000 m², 20,000 m² of logistics space with state-of-the-art technology and over 6,000 m² of attractive office space were created. api is a distribution and wholesale company for EDP, hardware components, peripherals and software as well as PC accessories. The production, service and repair of customer-specific PC systems are also part of the company’s activities.

The company had in 2016 around 600 people in 11 production sites. At the end of 2017, almost 500 employees was employed at the Baesweiler site.

In collaboration with Elektrobau Garvert GmbH, during two years, this project consisted of the largest project carried out with only 5 technicians, with almost no fluctuation of personal during this time. Except the the robotic shelves, our responsibility was to realize everything that means electrical, data and surveillance installation.
