2017-2018 Hospice-Verblijfshuis Pepinusbrug, Echt – NL

The Pergamijn Foundation in Pey-Echt will have a different character. The grounds of the institution will be redesigned in a new way, giving residents a home with their own front door. There will also be small group homes, there will be social facilities and the area will have a completely different appearance, that of a residential area. To make this ‘new neighbourhood’ as accessible as possible to the residents, was opted for a clear structure: a main connection that links the centre of the neighbourhood to the residential streets. This creates a clear plan that gives a lot of peace of mind. Redevelopment started in 2013 and is still on-going.
