2025-2026 Lidl SCO & AGF network and IP cameras, Limburg & East Brabant – NL
The leading European grocery retailer planned the installation of more than 10,000 self‑checkouts across multiple countries during the 2025 financial year. While Lidl had already introduced the new self‑checkout systems throughout Romania, the major rollout in Germany and other regions, in 2025 shifted its focus to the Dutch Lidl stores. Here, the installation phase began in March 2025 and was completed in April 2026. However, April 2026 does not mark the end of this project, but rather the transition into a new phase featuring an updated design and expanded functionalities.

A week before the scheduled installation date, we conducted a detailed check of the existing data connections. If additional cables were required, they were promptly installed to avoid delays on the installation day. As part of the installation process, we also took care of the cabling, mounting, and patching for the new Hand-Out SCO 2.0 smart cameras. Additionally, we focused on installing data outlets specifically for the scales in the fruit and vegetable department (AGF).
Over the last 12 months, this work took us to more than 40 Lidl branches. Across these locations, we installed over 350 Axis video sensors, more than 120 Axis F9114 units, and more than 15,000 meters of Cat7 cable to expand and reinforce the data network. These efforts ensured a reliable, scalable, and installation-ready infrastructure that supported the smooth rollout of the new self-checkout and AGF systems.
Our proactive measures and precise planning ensured a smooth and organized installation process that met the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.
