2025-2026 Lidl, Echt – NL

At Zuiderpoort in Echt, Peters Bouw en Onderhoud has completed the construction of a new Lidl supermarket, designed with a strong focus on modern architecture and sustainability. The tight construction schedule demanded precise coordination and highly efficient execution. Within this framework, Jansen Bartels delivered all electrical and mechanical installations. The result is a future‑proof and energy‑efficient building equipped with heat recovery, heat pumps, and solar panels. The site also includes facilities for electric vehicle charging and makes smart use of water buffering integrated into the surrounding greenery. With a GPR score of 8, the project demonstrates how sustainability and functionality can reinforce each other.
